Make you Own Skincare Products from Meadow Grown Wildflowers

Come out to our wildflower meadow and workshop outside Edinburgh to learn how to make your own skincare products! You’ll be welcomed into the workshop with a cup of herbal tea before we head out into our wildflower meadow to talk about the wildflowers that are in season and their properties. You’ll then have the opportunity to pick some flowers/leaves that you’d like to work with. Back in the workshop we’ll make botanical extracts from your bouquets, from oil infusions to tisanes. These will then form the basis of your products - each participant will leave the workshop with at least two products though most people leave with more! You can choose from a Face Oil, Serum, Lotion, Cleanser and/or Eye Gel.

The Seilich workshop is located at Rosemains Farm which is on the Prestonhall Estate just outside Edinburgh (near to Pathhead). To find us just put Seilich into google maps.

There is disabled access to the workshop and toilet, certain disabilities may restrict full meadow access but in this scenario we’ll bring the meadow to you!

This workshop is suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 welcome.

This workshop lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours, comprising an initial welcome talk (10-15mins), a wander around the meadow (30mins-1hr) and skincare making (90-120 mins).

In the event of poor weather the event will still go ahead (unless the weather is very extreme e.g. deep snow, gale force winds, flood conditions) though will be amended so we spend less time in the meadow (unless participants prefer to stay out for longer!).

A full refund will be given for cancellations made up to 4 weeks prior to the event.
A 50% refund will be given for cancellations made up to 1 week prior to the event.
With less than one week to go we can not offer a refund (although in some circumstances it may be possible to transfer to another date - please get in touch to find out more).
